I'am currently on the keto diet, I was wondering if mcdonald's chicken nuggets's would be a good cheat food?
 
what kind of "cheating" are you doing?

You mean the carb up phase?

i agree, why waste your time on them, go for something more scrumptius like a blueberry cheesecake something or other.

there are no cheat days on a keto diet. Just a controlled carbup, but that's not cheating, that's planned.
 
but would you consider this to be a carb or would the batter justify calling it a carb, my real question should be would chicken nuggets be a carb cheat? if so why?:rolleyes:
 
Because they are rolled in BREAD CRUMBS
and bread is carbs my friend. You can get a Nutrition Facts menu in Mc'D....they are required by law to have one on hand.

I believe that more then 3 carbs can throw you out of Ketosis. But, remember, it all depends on the person. I can have up to 6 carbs a meal, but NO MORE or the 'Ketonic' state is sacraficed.
