IC, if the person is eagle-eyed they won't accept it. But most just glance at it, look at name and pic and move on. If not, try another clerk a few mins later. Helps if you keep it in my your wallet pocket.

Or just get a state id card.

It's the only picture ID most people have. I also have a State ID I carry when I'm cycling.

in florida you can just renew your license online and they send it to you about a week later. not sure about MD

Don't let it lapse for too long brah. i let mine go 3 months without knowing it, plus I was in prison at the time. When I got out I had to take the written and driving test all over again with tthe 16 year olds and slants.
