Help: How do you get a year-round test boost?

I’ve got a question: Men’s testosterone levels dip as they get older. Further, studies indicate that vegetarians have lower levels than meat-eaters. I’m fucked coming and going: I’m 46 AND a strict vegetarian. I’m in the midst of a Sustanon and Dbol cycle, but I’m wondering how I can keep the testosterone levels up when not on a cycle. I know some use Human Growth Hormone, but the cost seems prohibitive. So do I make my peace with dwindling testosterone levels, or is there some other way of increasing it when not on a cycle? Any suggestions? Thanks for your feedback.

I'm 51 and planning this cycle after summers over to run a yr round maintence cycle of Test eth 250 every week or two.

Tyhigs -- lol. I'm not much of a hug-a-tree tie-dye kind of guy. -- oh, ok, maybe I am a little -- but I'm too far gone to start eating meat, fish, and dairy again. Haven't done it in about 20 years. So does anyone else have any suggestions on boosting year-round testosterone levels?

look into androgel or androderm. basically transdermal test replacement by prescription. androgel very convienient, very effective. if you have insurence, they'll even pay (HRT).

for the natural approach, as men age, T levels decline some, yes, but SHBG increases _greatly_, which binds up test, and reduces Free Test (which is the only biologically active test in body). some herbals that have been shown to increase free test are avena sativa, nettles (nettle root). also, proviron frees up bound test (but its a drug).

I have yet to hear an argument in favor of not eating meat that carries any logic whatsoever.

I do however believe that people can choose to do whatever they want -- but except the circumstances that incur.

Nelson -- If you believe that you haven't heard a logical reason why people don't eat meat, I doubt you'll ever be open to understanding why some people don't do it. For me, it's a moral choice. I believe that animals have souls, and I really don't see the difference between eating a cow and eating, say, a dog. Further, I want to respect the power God gave me over animals by protecting them, not by slaughtering them for my benefit. But if you want a completely different reason why you shouldn't eat meat, read a recent book called "Fast Food Nation," which is about the food industry. It will keep you off meat for life!

I haven't actually seen a dog I was hungry for...lol.. and damn, a big fat steak is sooo hard to resist. Being a veggie eater only don't you have to take massive sups?

re

NashTnMan, being a veggie is ok, im just curious if it is for religiuos purposes. i was veggie for almost 2 years and this was about 5 years ago. i dont know though, i saw a nice piece of red meat steaming with goodness and my life was changed ever since then. seriously, you ought to get some expert advice about your steriod routine from another veggie who has been there. also, which im sure you already know, you might want to get some anti E's and some aminos to take with your vegetables cuz you aint gonna put on much mass withought complete proteins. i tell you what though brother, i Have had some good ass veggie food before like fry chick or veggie links.. mmmmm good shit

re

in know right, what was i thinking, i could have put on a few pounds of lean muslce in that amount of time but instead i got fat.
have you noticed alot of the vegetarian women are pale and overweight....... thats because they replace there meat with sweets, like thats gonna do anygood.

I was told that being a strick leaf eater you have to take alot of sups! To me, that proves you should eat some amount of meat. I personaly couldn't live without it!

re

example A. my friends friend walks into my supplement store and completely looks like shit( the just got out of bed at 3pm look ) he says " man, you got anything to get my dick working again?" im like nothing but some tribb bro and at the same time im thinking whats wrong with this guy, he's obviously middle aged and shouldn't be havings problems with his johnson. well, after he leaves, my bro tells me he used to be big into bodybuilding but gave it all away for women. he also stated that she had him on this vegan diet for almost 3/4 of a year. well, we got a few giggles out of it but that should go to show you, you are what eat. if you want to be a Bull, eat red meat.

I have to admit that being a vegetarian is hard as fuck, especially if you live in the South, where they put beef juice in just about everything. And you're right: I have to take bucketloads of supplements to make up for what I don't get from my normal diet. But it's a choice I've made, and I've been sticking to it for more than 20 years now. A lot of vegetarians get soft and fat because they eat mostly pasta and other carbs, but I've got a protein-centered diet, so I'm in good shape, and am muscular. I'm not as bulked as I want to be, though, which is a limit of my age and diet, and that's why I turned to steroids. I'm running a cycle of dbol and sustanon. If anyone knows a combination that might work better given my diet, please let me know. Thanks!

I respect your decision! For me, I could never pass a BBQ!

I was a vegetarian from 19 ro 22, and that was the worst. I must have missed out on some real muscle growth during that period. also, I got fatter than ever on all those damn carbs.

Fuq, can't anyone try to answer his question. I don't see how anyone could go without meat either religous beliefs or not, but lets try to help with his question. I think you need to make sure your getting adequate "good" fat, some zinc supplement, clomid from time to time. Without eating red meat I am sure you are supplementing creatine. I def would if your not. Flaxseed oil. What does your diet and or supplements look like now???

BTW, obviously lifting with squats, deadlifts and any "large" movement will increase test. Porn, beating the meat, and or getting with the woman often enough will definitely help also. I am a firm beleiver that keeping sex in my mind a lot is a cirlce of test. I think of it because of the test and keep the test because I am thinking of it. LOL hope that makes sense.

I agree. Most guys just want to bitch at the dude for his choice to be a vegetarian.

He made his choice, now get over it!

I wonder if the standard sort of "natural" supplement approach which some advocate for Test recovery (like Nelson) would help here, like Avena Sativa, Nettles Root, MACA, Zinc, etc. I dont see why it wouldnt. (And I cant believe that Nelson did not bring this up.)

Regardless of the reason (being a veggie in this case) I think this is a very very valid question - after all - dont ALL of us want to have higher test levels - even when we are off?

Here is something to think about as well. Due to the high levels of steriods used in the production of beef and chicken there have actually been problems with these decreasing men's T levels, or more precislsy, causing elevated levels of Estrogen and estrogen-like compounds in men. But watch, now instead of answering the dude's question, guys will want to bitch about this now. LOL

This is a question for a nutritionist, or an M.D., or another like minded individual who has approached the subject.....since you are the first veggie I have seen on the boards, I don't know who to point you to......but try Huck, he seems to know most everything else:D The only thing I would suggest, had already been hashed out, and that is a pantload of amino's, and heavy ass lifting, coupled with some hardcore masturbation, but not to completion....;) errr.....uh......yeah right...good luck

Vegetarianism is completely artificial

You may have several reasons for being a vegetarian, but none of them are have anything do with health or logic. For the human species, vegetarianism came only well after civilization and agriculture. All modern “old-age” diseases are direct result of excess consumption of nutritionally poor, high glycemic grains. Contemporary cultures who do not consume grains and other modern civilizations foodstuffs are very nearly 100% free of heart disease, strokes, diabetes, myopia (nearsightedness) thyroid disorders, and cancer (and not to mention are very scarce on idiots who think they are being “natural” and moral by eating granola). Such foods are truly unnatural, could only have been produced with the modern industrial manipulations of civilization, and do not compare in the slightest with the nutritional qualities of meat, fruit, or vegetables. There is no evidence whatsoever of vegetarianism in any prehistoric or contemporary primitive cultures. It was once thought that primates such as chimpanzees were vegetarian…this was proved completely false. All chimpanzees will hunt and devour other species of monkeys and other animals, and the alpha males may consume a significant chunk of their calories from predation. This is not coincidental with the alpha males’ significantly enhanced musculature. Just being alive a human will kill hundreds of bacteria and other animals. If you drive a car you kill hundreds of bugs every year. My advice if you feel inspired to be natural and moral and not eat meat? Eat only road kill, or at the very minimum the bone marrow of road kill--which is high in protein and Omega 3--and plenty of fruits or vegetables. Stay away from the dietary plagues of society and what idiots think are natural: grains, soy (which will jack your estrogen up sky-high), and refined carbohydrates. This and some squats will increase your test significantly. Just my two cents from a former vegetarian.
