anybody do self bleeding here? high hemoglobin rbc

I'm sure people on trt cant donate blood for various reasons so they withdraw blood at home. was curious anybody have any tips. Ive been using a 20 gauge, hose and pint bottle but seems like the needle gets clogged very quickly. when I go pour the bottle out, the blood is so thick I can barely get the blood out of the bottle. it was like a blood ball. coagulated blood? anyways was thinking of trying an 18 gauge next time and if that doesnt work maybe a 16. my hemoglobin is little over 17% and hematocrit at 51%.
