Drove about an hour to our place in Willcox today. Went to get some of my son's stuff and break out the winter clothes. I got there and the doors were open, stuff was thrown everywhere, bed over turned. They fuckers even stole my underwear.

Gone are:
dvd player
200 dvds
digital camera
video camera
desktop computer & flat panel monitor
MY UGGS. fuckers.
most all my clothes and shoes - including underwear - WTF?
tools
1000 watt grow light and ballast + all my fertilizer & other plant stuff
rototiller
the $5.00 alarm clock by the bed. :nerd:
the gawdam garbage can
my son's toys
soap and toilet paper from the bathroom

and most disturbingly - my son's birth certificate. GAWDAMMIT!!!!!!!

The tv is in the 5th wheel at our last job site. If it had been there, they would have taken it.

My house in the the county, so I had to call the sheriff. A nice sheriff dude came out and wrote the report up for me. Not a lot they can do, since I haven't been there for 2 months - I have no idea when it happened. I told him I didn't really care about any of the crap except my sons BC. (This is a lie - my uggs are gone, dammit) He took hi social, date of birth, etc and said that if it was used, they'd let me know.

I packed up what was left (mostly work clothes - no one wants sweatshirts with grease stains on them) and came back to Sierra Vista. The house is a disaster - they overturned the beds, pulled everything out of the cubbards, and left whatever clothes they didn't want all over the house. I was so stresed, I went to McDonalds on the way back and ate a huge burger and fires and now I feel like throwing up. fuck. :worried:

wow. I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. Do you have insurance? I know that doesn't replace everything, but its a start.

The birth certificate is VERY valuable, I can see why they took that.
No brainer as to why they took the panties.
Why the grow light? You growing bud?

no - I'm not growing bud. lolol When I was at home all the time, my hobby was growing plants and flowers.

Yes - I think it's someone I know. The kid across the street got thrown out of his house shortly before we started out last job. He's the only neighbor who's ever been in our house. I hired him to help pull out trees and do general cleanup when we bought the place.

OMG....that is horrible and very creepy.......wow...Maybe Stickfigure's girlfriend needed some undies..........lol....but that is crazy....sounds like someone you know did it

lolol he doesn't know where I live, and I don't think he's the robbing kind.
nah he's not the robbing kind, but he's been known to enter through the backdoor and take the dirt road home!

what about somebody on your work site that had access to your home address?

They would obviously know you weren't home and could have had somebody else do it.

That sucks....Luckily I have never had any thing like that happen to me before. I would be beside myself

no - noone on the jobsite knows our addresses. plus - the jobsite is 5 hours away from the house. I think it's the neighbor kid and his friends. He was in some trouble with the law when we left.

you need to go over there and search their house for any evidence of your shit!

Im sorry but that would creep me out!

yeah - I was creeped out. the sheriff dude stayed there with me while I packed up some stuff. He was nice, and extremely pissed off that someone would steal my son's toys. My son had pirate ships that he got for Christmas last year. They were pretty cool - now they're gone. fuckers.

I was calm until I ate Mcdonalds. Now I just feel sick. That stuff will kill you. I swear.

damn that sucks big time. what a horrible feeling that someone's been all up in your personal space. I was robbed once too (not nearly as much was taken) and I felt so awful and violated, I had to move, I couldnt stay there anymore. I'm so sorry to hear about this.

omg that sucks sorry stalker woman

ive had my shoes stolen before, so i know how that feels.
also had my glasses stolen as well ironically. (prescription)

but your losses sound much worse! I hope you can recover from this loss, and I hope this person gets caught!

Oh Shorty I'm so fucking sorry for you guys!!! :worried:

Why would they take your kids toys, your fucking underwear and Uggs, WTF kind of fucking freak weirdo ...

Honey, you MUST get a monitored alarm system immediately, they're cheaper than cable these days.

P.S. anything you left personal in the house, that THEY left, you want to make sure it's cleaned before you use it, seriously.

Very sorry this happened to you...

To date I have had our house broken into when I was a kid and they took all my Mom's valuables and turned the house over like yours.

Had my apt. broken into, my cars twice, and our car spray painted with swat stickers in black (i'm Catholic)...

One of the car breakins was in the middle of a -10 degree cold snap around 3:00 in the a.m. on a Monday night???

I stood out the next few nights with a bat in my hand.

Again, sorry - people suck

I didn't have a lot there, luckily. It's the guest house (we're fixing up the main so it's gutted) - most of my valuables are at our house in Prescott, and my mom is living in the guesthouse there. What's not there is in the 5th wheel - which is still at the last jobsite. I'm currently in Sierra Vista, and we're buying property here. Jesus, I'm all over the place. lolol. I'm looking forward to getting it all together here within the next few months. I've been feeling really displaced lately - a woman without country, so to speak. Having the place robbed was kind of the icing on the cake of my displacement.

The only real downer is that all our personal paperwork was there, and all our clothing. They didn't take any checks or any paperwork that I can tell. Weird. I should probably look on the bright side of this and say "Hey! I can go shopping!" lolol I'm not real excited about that, right now, tho. Maybe later...

Willcox is really small. I should just spend a few days watching people in town to see who's wearing my Uggs or my leather jackets. I don't want to know who's wearing my underwear. lolol

Ty. I know the feeling of wanting to go back and wait for them. The thought did cross my mind...

i've had something similar happen to me. it sucked and took me a long time to get over. I'm sorry. :(

:rose: thank you. I don't feel so bad anymore. I think most of it was the McDonalds. That was a bad move.

I have been burglarized before. I know how it feels it really does suck and you feel violated and unsafe in your one place that supposed to be the safe zone. They had taken things that meant so little to most people but the world to my ex wife and to see the hurt on her destroyed me. Even though she is a cheating whore still when I think about it, it bothers me to know end that they took things that ment so very much to her. I have owned a gun and an alarm system in everyplace that I have lived in ever since. And dont forget to mention the Picaso they took. Two entities that deserve absolutely NO love is the IRS and Insurance companies. They will do everything in their power to take as much money as possible from you but when its time to give back they will do everything in their power to not have to pay you for your loss.

When my husband's van was stolen we got it back pretty quick but the one thing he STILL mourns is his briefcase that had his grandmother's bible in it, which was actually written in Mohawk.

It's shit like that you can't replace. T.V., DVDs, clothing, toys, even documents can all be replaced, but it is SUCH a total fucking PITA, you have to protect your credit card accounts, shit like that (contact the three credit bureaus and inform them that your personal info has been stolen, shit like that ...)

I don't think I'm een ging to report it to the insurance company. It's more of a hassle than anything else, and quite frankly - what was taken wasn't worth that much. When Jeff gets home, I'll let him decide.

It could have been worse. Our house in Prescott has all our guns and artwork and stuff like that. (although most of it is in our safe.) It's why I asked my mom to live there.

You lost a Picaso? An original? Holy :cow: - that would suck.

happened to me before as well
fucking sucks and you feel sooo violated

Its wierd you dont think much of it when it happens to someone else. Everybody was like its over get over it within only a week and a half. That shit weighs on you heavy when it happens. They took provocative pictures my ex had made for me for my B-day theres no telling if they are going to come back and try and rape her or something, and furthermore it is not uncommon for a burglar to hit the same place a few weeks after you have been burglarizd because they know you recieved your insurance check and have all new stuff for them again. Just a real shitty feeling

that sucks I'm sorry to hear that.

My neighbor has survelience cameras all around his house...he's a weird old dude - but I think he might be onto something.

So you guys have houses in Prescott and Sierra Vista? I never got the impression that Sierra Vista was a nice place...

That actually sounds like illegal immigrants they do that shit here in texas all the time.

notice how ALL your stuff was taken not just the expensive stuff(like stuff to sell).

A family of illegals will be crossing over here with nothing, find an empty house and BAM instantly they have everything they need in one stop.

they took mu Uggs. Swole will be so upset.

lol

sounds to me the thieves had bad taste in shoes

Jebus. Really sorry to hear that. I had my golf clubs and CD's stolen out of my car a few years ago, but that's nothing compared to this.

That sucks shorty. I know how painful that is. It happened to me last year. They took over $20,000 worth of jewelry and electronics and other stuff. Credit cards that they used that night etc... They were eventually caught and sentences last month. I guess that's OK. I certainly didn't get any of my stuff back. I filed an insurance claim and got 8k for over 20k of losses. pffft. One engagement ring was 7k that I'll never get back.

They also took checkbooks and my mortgage book. wtf? These people were real professionals. They also tore apart my house from top to bottom. It sucked so much. Hang in there, only time will heal this. I still feel jaded. Good luck. It can always be worse, that's what I try and tell myself. I could have came home with my 3 yo daughter at the time while they were here and it could have ended badly. it always could be worse. Appreciate the good stuff.

Sorry.

Almost forgot. Check your checkbook for any missing checks INSIDE the top one. They take one from the middle of the book, so you don't think they're missing. I would just change it anyway, because they may have taken the number. It's worth it. A hassle but worth it. I had to change three checkbooks, accounts, everything.!!!ARGGG!

Damn girl that sucks. Esp your son's stuff. That just sucks and really speaks very poorly of the burglar. Many years ago we had our house tossed by some local kids who happened to know on a particular weekend when my family and 4 other families around our house were gone and knocked over all of them. The broke in thru the front door and fucked up the garage door opener as well. They just stole things like my dad's coin collection and some of my mom's jewelry. Not really much else. What sucked was I guess they thought they were gong to find good jewelry or something in my room (being the girl .??) and they just trashed my room. Funny thing is that I kept my cash stashed in a fish kite, one of several I had hanging from my ceiling - they never touched that stuff. But trashed teh whole rest of the room. Its such an amazing feeling of invasion.

Good vibes to you to nail the little fucker and quick getting your house back to being your "home".

you should be happy they stole your uggs.

they did you a favor...

everything else sucks, though. join netflix and burn all of your dvd's over again.

lolol- the uggs were for home wearing, only. I'm not a social ugg wearer. It's kind of like getting your favorite recliner stolen. It's ugly and worn out, but damn. It sure is comfortable.

I love growing stuff. My plan last year (before the fuel station job came up) was to take my plants/vegis to the farmers market. My garden was a little under an acre.
