Infection damn it!

I have my first confirmed infection today. I large knot grew in my delt where I injected which seems to be normal but never was staying a little longer than usual. So I decided to press on the lump where I felt a pop. I knew right then . So I of course went to the mirror and saw the released fluid move under my skin as I pushed on where the lump was so I got a syringe poked a hole with a sterile needle after wiping the area and my hands clean with alcohol and sure enough puss came out. I started on atibiotics right away. I also then squeezed my swollen muscle and felt yet another pop. I thought it was always just painful because it was stealth gear. Anyway just thought I'd share my little story and the reason I believe that you should have an antibiotic on hand just as you would a an AI while cycling. jmo!

This happened to me last week and I was so pissed off because it pretty much took me out of the gym for the first week and a half of my cycle. I'm still in pain but tomorrow I'm going to man up and go in and work upperbody anyway. I had it on my glute muscle.

I hope you feel better bro and it heals up quickly. Within a few weeks we will be laughing about this and talking about all the great gains we are making :)

i think the oral antibiotics are a great idea but i would go see a doc asap brotha
it could get worse

listen to this please
i got a hang nail
it got infected
i put neosporin on it and a bandaid
it caused some little pain
2 days later it still hurt but was healed over so i lance it
a little pus
neosporin and bandaid again
2 days later a girl that i worked with grabbed my arm when i told her a joke
i fell to my knees and couldnt speak, silent tears rolling down my face
the pain was so intense i couldnt breath to tell her to let go
she thought i was playing untill she saw the tears
she let go and i laid on the floor
an emt that was on staff found a lump just above my elbow and told me to get to a doc he thought it was an infected lymph node
he was right
4 months of antibiotic treatment
possibility of surgery if it didnt get better
alergic reaction developed to keflex

i now have an enlarged lymphnode on my left arm that will forever prevent me from having a perfect muscular arm or symetry

a fuckin hangnail!!!!!

go to the doc
do it as a favour to me
tell him you got a puncture wound from a piece of wire on a board or something... anything
just go

As aceman states i would seek professional medical attention so as to ensure all has been removed or can cause problems for years to come.

I am aware of the laws in the USA but confident that patien confidentiality still exists and would not risk health by not going.

With regards cause is this a new product or do you think there was a failing in technique?

Wrongun!

i had an infection in the glute. they gave me cepulaxen and showed me a new york times article about a guy who killed himself and took roids. i laughed and took the meds and it went away. i would not self medicate though with that. if you have a staff infection it could fuck you up

by that rationale, you think everyone with a hangnail or a scrape should go to a doctor
