Can Nolvadex (Tamoxifen) cause gyno?

nbk

New member
This has been derived from experience and through a few reference from other users. Mayority of people will think it's impossible for tamoxifen to generate gyno but....

Everytime I take nolvadex (alone or in company) I get itchy nipples. :lil k:

Yes, I do think nolva might have been responseable for some of the gyno Ive got, maybe responsable for a lot of my paranoia.

Cheers

I wouldn't be surprised if it does in extreme very rare cases may cause gyno by itself. bump for you.

LOL!!
I heard a million times that it's used to combat gyno but never heard of it being the cause. Not saying it can't happen, but I've never heard of it.

Anyone else have any input?

same here bro,I swear half the gyno symptoms people get are paranoia, and reading about it a million times a day

I agree with your bros. Paranoia is the problem, including myself at oone point. Most of us have to stop thinking and start lifting.

i think its possible... sometimes these types of drugs will bind to the breast receptor and actually help accelerate growth at that location... there were supposedly studies done on soy isoflavones (Which are high in phytoestrogens) that were shown to have this effect... but then again, there are studies shown that actuallly show that it reverses breast tissue growth... so who knows? :)

Tamoxifen is a weak estrogen, thus by binding to e receptors in the breast, it may promote growth in cases where breast estrogen is already low; thus when taking tamoxifen localized estrogen may actually increase above baseline. In your case, I would stick to aromatase inhibitors and only use nolva as a last resort. It is also possible that the tamoxifen may be binding mainly in other areas, leaving your tits wide-open to circulating estrogen looking for a home.

Does clomid give you the same itchy effects as nolva?
