Its basically just a chemical reaction which removes the ester. heres is a good article on esters etc which may interest you.

the ester is removed by, oddly enough, the esterase enzyme.

ester hydrolysis consists of the addition of a water molecule to the parent compound to yield the steroic molecule and a carboxylic acid

Not trying to nock you input but... Your statement is a bit redundant. I already know WHAT hydrolysis is, I was wanting to know why/how it happens after it is injected into your muscle.
