this destroys me. i heard it today from a resident being interview on the local news. i know we have at least 2-3 members on this board who regularly crank out a "George Warshington" or "going to warsh my car, k"

does anyone know what region of the U.S. this accent comes from?

Sounds NY if I'm reading the war right but it would be more like Warshin machine. We don't pronoun the G's on any word that ends with "ing"

I go Runnin, walkin, and sometimes you can see me sprintin.

Rural Southern Missouri...............or basically anywhere south of Interstate 44 in South St. Louis County.......
