Needto and Dylan: Aicar?

I've seen you both post reference to Aicar and the positive/synergystic effects studies have shown it to have when taken together with GW (needto in the official blog and dylan in his SARMs thread). However, I never see it recommended to people taking GW.

Why? What's the deal with Aicar?

Not sure why this was specifically addressed to those two, but its pretty simple really.

ALCAR is good for endurance regardless of if its paired with GW or not. Acetyl L-Carnitine gives you a boost to your endurance during long strenuous exercise the same way GW does, albeit by a different mechanism. So naturally they would work well elsewhere.

I've found it particularly useful with Sarmssearch GW

Not Alcar. Aicar. Alcar is an amino acid. Aicar is another SARM.

I asked them because both have written about it but neither includes it in their recommended cycles, so curious to know why.

there is very limited study with aicar on humans... it has shown to increase endurance a lot and paired with gw makes it very strong but unless your competing I just don't see the point... there is nothing in regards to muscle building or strength and most sarms stacks are intended as bridges in between cycles to help maintain or add to your gains...

Wasn't there some indications that it converted some muscle fiber from fast twitch to slow twitch?

So it has endutance enhancing properties but not fat burning or muscle building? The study you posted about referenced sedentary mice getting the benefits of cardio. Was that just in reference to building endurance or calories burned?

What would dose be if added to sarms?

If it was a general question i would have left it open, but aicar is a pretty rare compiund compared to what most post about here so wanted to make sure to get the attn of the two people i know that have some relevant info.
