A few weeks ago we discussed alternating heavy/light weeks. After that thread I completed a heavy week, last week went light and this week heavy again. My single leg extensions were better this week but what I was really happy with was chest. (Did that today) Normally 85lb bench is my limit and thats a struggle. Today did 85, felt good about it and went to 90 for 5 reps. I was also able to bump up my flys and decline. Maybe I was just having a good day but I think the light week helped. So thank you! I'm going to keep experimenting with it. ![]() | ||

Lobo, I don't need a bigger head, well at least....never mind..... but I could use bigger legs. Skydancer, it really does work. Going heavy all the time is counterproductive, but the concept is a tough sell in the bodybuilding world where more is better. F1 ![]() |
