Hey bro, I always keep my elbows in pretty tight, and I go down as far as I can. My shoulders touch the bars. BUT, some people fuck up their shoulders going down that far. It does put a lot of stress on them, but Ive got really strong shoulders, and that deep works great for me. For a while you may want to go just below parallel, and gradually try them deeper, but if you feel your shoudlers, dont go that deep. which grip is the best,currently i do 3 sets of dips ,and each set i change grip,i go close grip ,medium grip then outer grip,which is the best and isolatoes the triceps the most?? im guesing inner -medium? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Lean in as you go down to hit the chest more. A wider grip also puts more focus on the chest as opposed to narrow hitting triceps more. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
