Can anybody recommend a high protein, low carb nutrition bar. In between meals it would be nice to have a bar rather than preparing some type of snack. I have heard that they have come a long way and are actually pretty tasty!!!     | ||

Metrix are good, but too many carbs or fat, depending on which flavor bar. I have found that "Pure Protein" and "Designer Protein" bars seem to be the best ratios as far as high protein/low fat and carbs. And taste is pretty good too. | ||

Im curios if there are any bars which have a low glycemic count low in carbs and around 30 grams of protein.Obviously low fat as well 5-7 grams. Thanks!! | ||

I'm partial to "Pure Protein" bars. I like the taste better than the big name brands (MetRx, etc), they have more protein & they are cheaper to boot. I ran out of 'em a couple weeks back, so I cant check right now, but as I recall, they are low in carbs/sugar. Isopure makes totally carb-free protein powders in several flavors & they all taste awesome. | ||

Someone just told me about Worldwide Sport Nutrition bars. Total Fat:4g Sodium:60mg Carbs:14g Protein:30g This seems pretty good!! | ||
