I live in a state where you need a script to get pins. Ergo, most mail-order houses won't send them to me. I finally found a source and placed my order. On Monday, I got a notice from USPS that they tried to deliver a package, but couldn't. They needed delivery confirmation (but no signature). The form said I could request to be delivered again and I just put on the form when to deliver and where to put it... So I told them 'any day' and where to put it. I would assume that the postman picked up the form on Tuesday (it was gone Tuesday when I got home) and return the package on Wed? It's thursday and I haven't seen it. I didn't use a real name (no ID with that name) and I'm not sure what to do. If it doesn't show up, should I call them? Should I treat it as lost gear? About how long should I give? If it was sent Delivery confermation w/o signature they would have left it at your house if you were or were not home....thet is the point of having it w/o signature...they should have just left it in your mailbox in the first place. IP: Logged |

If you had the package sent express,(which I beleive you did) then they may think they need a delivery confirmation since the package has a tracking number. A signature is not required for Express Delivery, but they need to see you get the package in order to confirm the delivery in their computer records. ------------------ http://2thick.elitefitness.com IP: Logged |

Yea... I'd think that if they weren't going to deliver it after I asked that I would get another form telling me there was a problem... But then again... there I go THINKING again... This is the GOVERNMENT we are talking about!!! -iceman IP: Logged |
