6 grams of protein per ounce of meat, assuming its all meat, with very little fat. An 8 oz lean steak probably has around 45 grams, give or take depending on the fat content. LP ------------------ IP: Logged |

Raw beef and cooked beef may differ slightly, 4oz raw will equal about 3 oz cooked,most of the meats are between 20 to 30 grams of protein for 3oz cooked meat, get yourself a protien counter book, thats where I just got this info from for you, hope it helped.  IP: Logged |
