SSMAN Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 257)	posted May 16, 2000 03:11 PM Some helpful tips for happy shopping in Mexico: 1. Know what AS's are available and the Mexican name of the products. If you're looking for something specific and need names, email me. 2. Know how to identify legit/fake gear....if you're looking for something specific I have a scanner and can show you labels of what I have 3. Avoid pharmacies and vets closest to the border crossing.....I typically venture a mile or two into town (some pharmacies close to the border are monitored or may have working relations with customs) 4. Find a taxi driver, tell him what you're looking for (pharmacy/vet), and tip him well 5. Try to avoid extra stops after purchasing gear. It is illegal to have AS without a script in Mexico. Do any other shopping prior to buying your AS 6. Don't come back empty handed...especially if you're walking across. I am the king of Mexican blankets and tshirts I hope this helps....if there's anything else you need help with, email me. coyote977 Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 211)	posted May 16, 2000 03:22 PM Hey the post of SSMAN it's basic, just want to correct something, you don't need prescription for anabolics since 2 years ago they are not controlled substances anymore, but since you don't know the law, the local police could give you a hard time so try to stay with in the turist places and blend in with the crowd. A cop who wants to shake you down (yes it happened to me) for cash, can and will do it. I know that several years ago some places in Mexico( in this case Reynosa ( Tamaulipas Province) required an Rx with all human AAS purchases.
