due to excessive inflammation due to the hits
he took. Well, he got hooked on it after 2-3 months
on it, and I had to help him with the withdrawal.

Nubain is a NARCOTIC analgesic. It is
VERY ADDICTIVE.
Stay away. Take this as a warning.
Its very cheap too which is a problem. $50-60

Fonz, Its not actually a narcotic. Its structured similar to oxymorphone but also has properties similar to Naloxone (narcan). The withdrawal (physical) can be almost completely stopped with tramadol (ultram) but again, the psychological craving is still there. BTW Stadol is MUCH more habit forming than Nubain.
If you dont need it-dont use it. If you have pain try a combo of Celebrex and Ultram.
Ultram isnt a narcotic but does occupy the Mu receptor (one of the bodies three opiate receptors, the others being Kappa, and delta).
As Fonz said-just pass on it.
