Before i sprained my wrist was gaining very well on the deadlift. Gained 40lb in about 6 weeks. Then i started hit a platue where i was not gaining and getting weaker. What exercise can i do to replace that lift. All the equitment i have is a barbell,2 dumbells, and a bench. What exercise can i do to replace the deadlift something that will get my nuts pumping the testosterone. ![]() | ||

Well, you could have just peaked. When I was doing this kind of lifting, I could do about 8 weeks, increasing each week, on dead and squat, then poop out. But on the bench, I cycled about 4 weeks then I was toast. Take two weeks rest, then start back on deads at 20 lbs greater than when you first started. As much as I hate to lay off, I had to do this to keep increasing. Doing alternate exercises (kind of like bridging) didn't help me at all. ![]() | ||
