How long does it take for the scar tissue to 'go away'? or will it ever 'go away'?

and for any vets or pros, if u can answer this question of mine also, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have posted on this many times. My friend, scar tissue does not just go away, it must be coaxed away. Ultrasound and cross friction massage seem to be the ticket.
