   I called Eli Lilly the makers of humulin R insulin to see how long this drug will keep at room temperature. They told me that once the bottle is open, it will stay active for only 4 weeks either refrigerated or at room temperature. (under 80 degrees) I have used insulin sveral times but I have kept the same bottle for like 4 months because I only use between 8 - 10 iu post workout. Well that explains why I didn't go hypo the last few times I screwed up by not eating enough carbs after injection. IP: Logged |
