I've heard a long time ago someone saying that ephedrin works as an anti-catabolic. I've also heard the opposite, that it is catabolic, but not much. Please help me clear this up. Catabolic or not? ![]()

Do you mean Ephedrine? I don't belive that it has any anti-catabolic properties, but it's a great fat-burner. ![]()

Both ephedrine and clenbuterol are beta-agonists and both are anti-catabolics.That's a fact and shouldn't be any more speculations about it. [This message has been edited by panerai (edited January 26, 2001).] ![]()

Ephedrine is in the group of sympathomimetics, meaning it produces heat in the body(thermogenesis)....This is what helps with the reduction in fat....clen is basically a beta-2 symphatomimetic, and is anti-catabolic in it's effect....as you can see, they are both in the same group....ephedrine does have some minimal degree of anti-catabolism....Later Ranger ![]()

Hey, give the guy a break. He came close to spelling it right in his post. Left out the "e" though. :-) ![]() |
