Hey computer xperts. Whenver I try and wipe free my entire c drive the pgp begins but then stops after about 10 minutes and starts again. Its restarting, it says ,cause another program is interfering. But I have nothing else running and nothing comes on the screen. I schedule for 7 passes and never get further than halfway thru the first. Any ideas?? Thx     | ||

first off are you just clearing the cache or are you trying to empty your whole c:\drive ? | ||

Well hehe you cant write over your whole C drive Even if your windows folder is on another partition there will be files on the boot partition which is proly C: IE: you cant write over or delete files that are in use .Are you trying to do a free space wipe? if so i would first do a scandisk defrag reboot then hit CTRL + ALT + DEL and shut down everything but explorer and sys tray shut off your screen saver then u should be ok |
