Our sattelite has the function that you can block out certain channels. We have one set up in the family room that is child friendly only allowing certain channels unless we change the user on the remote to allow other channels. We can have it set up for 4 different users too. Of course this doesn't matter much because when my husband is home, the remote is in his hand and no one else can change the channel anyway. Fortunately, I like most of what he likes to watch.

Not necessarily true... not into Lifetime channel nor Oxygen... at least not like you think. Never even bother w/ Lifetime...as for Oxygen well once in a blue moon I catch an Oprah "After the Show"... or the funny "Girls Behaving Badly" show. However I stick to watchin' the same tv as my fiancé.

My fiancé & I have been living together for a year & we mainly watch sports, movies, comedy central, Forensic Files, COPS, etc... we never argue about what to watch b/c we have the same interests! Definitely helps - especially when we're living in a studio apartment (temporarily until we get our house)!

Hell yeah! The Shield is the best action/drama out there right now. If I could be guaranteed an assignment like Mackey's, I'd become a cop tomorrow.
