Two nights ago, I had the weirdest dream. I was in some foreign country and could not get out because I had no passport and I didn't speak their language. It was very disjointed and jumping about.
Last week I had one of my classic dreams. Where I doing some kind of everyday shit and was sooooo tired... I mean I was sooooooo tired and sleepy and all I wanted to do (in the dream) was lay down and go to sleep... and then everytime I tried to do that I was instantly awake (in the dream) but in a few seconds soooo tired again.

I'm getting married in October. I have always been known as the really independent type but have always had a really close relationship with my Dad. I had a dream that when he was walking me down the aisle at my wedding .......
I just stopped walking. I don't know why. I couldn't move my feet. I just started hugging my Dad and crying like a little girl. Everyone was looking at me and I couldn't stop hugging my Dad and crying. I couldn't move my feet. All of the music stopped and everyone just kept looking at me. Is that fucked up or what?

I was thinking maybe it's because my dad has always been the most important man in my life and now it's going to be someone else. Maybe it's because I have ALWAYS done my own thing without a care about what anyone else ever says... except my Dad. Now, I need to start worrying about what someone,besides my Dad, thinks of me. I don't know what it is. My Dad is really happy for me. He really likes the man I am about to marry.

Thanx, Stick. I have known him for about 3 years or so. Actually, we grew up in the same area, knew the same people...went to the same docs and dentist as kids.We probably would have went to school 2gether but he went to an all boys catholic school and I went to the co-ed. catholic school. It's funny. The family who lives next to my parents(same house where I lived from childhood until adulthood) are his sister's godparents.I guess the lady next door from my parents has been the best friend of his mother since grade school... like 35 years or something! Crazy we never met before. We actually met about an hour drive from where we grew up. We didn't even know we were from the same hood.Plus,his Dad is a chemist and I spent several years as a chem major.My Dad taught at the college we both went to... we probably didn't meet then b/c it's a big school and he dropped out to go to the police academy.It's crazy how things work out.StickFigure said:

When I was a child I used to have very bad dreams...dreams about my mom being beheaded, dreams of all the townspeople bronzing the children in town and using them as statues; dreams of a robot ape malfunctioning and killing all the children in my kindergarden class. A friend of a friend did some hocus pocus ritual thing and at the end said I would have no more bad dreams, ever. The truth is that the power of the suggestion was so great that I didn't have another bad dream until I was probably 25 years old or so.
Anyway, I usually have 3 recurring dreams: One is that I am in a car that goes down a boat ramp, the car fills with water, and I struggle to get out. Another is that I can fly, but it is sort of like swimming through the air. I have to concentrate. It is very calm, relaxed and euphoric sort of dream. The other dream is that I go back to some old shack that I had to live in as a child (we were very poor, at times). I look in a cabinet and discover a doorway to a mansion. It was there all along, and we did not know about it.
