You ever work a job where you get tips

you ever work a job making tips....what would you do if you got stiffed...i knew this crazy fuck that would ask for the tip or ask the person if they left the tip in the car or something..and if they still didnt tip he would bitch them out

I worked delivering pizza many years ago. When people didn't tip, I filed their address away in the back of my head. Then, when they ordered in the future, I'd make sure they got their food dead last...at the very end of a delivery run, when it was sure to be cold.

I worked in as a waitress in a fine dining establishment....meaning the average per person meal was @ $40...without cocktails.

However, tips were not automatically figured into the bill....

If I ever did get stiffed on a table and the person paid with a credit card I would add the 15% into the charge...

At the same time I also worked at the local health club where most of the restaurant patrons also were members of the gym. When they were in a group chatting with their snotty friends...I would walk up and Thank them for the generous tip from the previous evening...and then laugh and say "Oh, I'm sorry...that's right you are the guy that stiffed me. At least you were able to scrape together enough money to pay for your meal..." :)

Add on the 15%?

Didnt they notice that when they signed the receipt?

I worked as a waitress at a high end- restaurant in CA. The most I got was 75.00.

I was blown away.

Never got stiffed.

Did they notice that it was added in...probably...

But I was never questioned about it either....

I've never worked a job where tips where expected, like a waiter or something, but I've gotten tips before because I treat people right.

I cocktail waitress part time I would never say a word if I didn't get tipped. At least not to there face. If it is a busy night it is no biggy I just don't go back to there table as often as they would like or sometimes at all.

I'm the type of guy who would have placed a soggy one dollar note in your clevage.:)

I worked as a bar tender in a club and I rarely got stiffed. If I did I figured that the person was either a) cheap or b) was barely able to afford themselves the drink they had. Either way I didn't care.

So basically you stole from them? Real cool.

If any waiter/waitress tried that and i found out, I'd definitely make a lot of it.

As far as I'm concerned I'll only tip if the service is good and I can afford it. If the service is any less than good, not a chance.

It's not stealing if the customer sees the extra charge before signing the bill and signs it anyway

Yep, happened to me. After a meal at a local restaurant the waiter decided my tip was not sufficient and added $50 to the tab. My meal was $20. After getting my credit statement at the end of the month, I noticed it. Went up there with it and complained to the manager. After enough bitching they credited my card. Haven't seen that waiter since.

On a side not, 2 friends used to hit on the hotty waitress at our usual bar. They would sometime tip her $100 after a night of drinking. She's hot, but damn!

Stole no...

The customer would have known of the charge when signing the recipit. There is a gratutity line on the credit card tape. And no you can't add on the charge after the customer left...because the card is ran through at the time of payment.

You say you tip only if the service is good...which is understandable...but then you say AND if you can afford it...
If you can't afford to tip you probably couldn't afford to go out to eat. If you don't want to tip...there is a Mc Donald's in almost every city...

What bar is this and how do I get a job there?

Tuc we don't have one dollar bills in Canada you would have to stick at least a $5 in my clevage. ;)

That rack is worth a fiver...but only if you'd bent down real low to give a great view of em' while serving the round of drinks. 'Accidentaly' brush em' against my face, and you're looking at a ten for sure!!!!

I used to waitress & there were certain types of people who never tipped....

I remember these 2 professional women who always came in & never tipped......the hostess always sat them in my section & they asked for a knife, I brought it back then they wanted something else & on & on.....basically I couldn't pay attention to my other tables cuz of these 2 & then they didn't tip.....finally one day I brought them their food & their check & told them since they didn't tip I wouldn't be bringing them anything else & if they ever sat in my section again I wouldn't wait on them at all........They said "What you expect us to tip you?????" Like they couldn't believe that they should tip me........I slaved over them & was nice..........well not any more. So there. LOL

my manager used to give me lots of tips.

"you are a lazy cunt.. try working harder!" was his most frequent tip.

Please tell me you touched the extra utensils on the bottom of your shoe, or sneezed on their food, or something.
