About a year ago, we lost power on some industrial equipment at work. My job at the time was repairing the equipment in the Fab. The tool had no power so I went down in the basement where all the electrical panels are located. I was trying to get the panel to open, as I stool behind the electrical door, but the panel would not open. Then I saw a guy from facilites, this was his job to checked things out in the basement area. He took a screwdriver and was trying to pryed the panel open, just as the panel came unlock a major electrical exposion occured. The guy was laying on the concrete floor with burn marks all over his face, he had huge pieces of metal lodged into his neck, eyes and face, he was screaming in pain. I held him down and had someone else call an ambulance. By the time, help arrived the guy was dead, he had two kids, one age 1, and one age 3. I somehow feel responsible for his death, and I feel like it should had been me instead of him. So if I could change one thing, It would have been me.
