So after about a year of performin, working my ass off and so on only to be backstabbed by people higher up than me that weren't getting results but speaking to the influentials about how good they are doing and how bad I am doing (claiming my results and not allowing me to speak to those influentials) I finally got the chance to speak with them today.

Guaranteed my job (which was never secure cause no access to the powers and not fully knowing what was said about me behind my back, only that it was bad) today after the whole year coming in to the office not knowing if I will be asked to leave that day or not.

Do you guys/girls know what a relief that is? I feel 50lbs lighter on the shoulders all of a sudden and finally smiled again after months and months of being miserable and possibly depressed.

Seriously do you know what a relief it is?

Kinda sucks walking in to the office every single day not knowing if it will be your last

I can lick everyone in here but Puddle Monkey as he never showers...

I did get promoted but whereas I was a cosultant/contractor before, I now am an employee. More money + bonus but the most important thing is the reassurance part because I have been promised this for so long and never given it. It made me feel like they wanted me out. it's long long story but it came good in the end
