I went to the tile store, got everything I need for my kitchen counter, delivery scheduled for next friday. Although, who knew that trim pices would cost more than the counter itself? I decided to go with bullnose pieces on the edge. My debit card appreciated it.

Went to the appliance store looking for a wall oven that will fit my cabinet, without too much cutting, and found it.

Went to the home center store and got the sink and faucet I wanted.

Today is working out better than I thought. Now I have the rest of the day left to do nothing.

Yeah, but I already had that. Now I just need to get an electrician to look at intalling the oven and cooktop.

The only thing I have left for my kitchen/ bathroom remodel is to pick out the countertops.....either Granite, Sliestone, or Zodiac quartz...

I'm loving the quartz countertops right now.

Keep an eye on the cost of the trim work. I was going to go with this pewter trim on the front edge of my countertop until they added up the cost, it cost more than the tile for my entire countertop.

Luckily, the lady working with me had a good eye for decorating, so she saved me a bunch of money.

I dont want any fancy trim...just a clean, contemporary look.
