Yearly Physical, What do you tell the Doc?

I am 43yrs old and just started juicing. As far as I know I am a healthy adult. Now that I am using AAS I am obviously more concerned about certain health matters. I always get a physical at least once a year. But these physicals seem like such bullshit, cause they are so basic. So my question is what do you guys tell your doctors when you go see them? To me it seems like the smart thing to do is to let him know whats up. At least then he knows what to look for. On the other hand I hate the fact that my steriod use would be on record. I know there's the doctor- patient confidentiality (sp?) thing, but what about insurance companies. Lets say you get sick, is it possible the insurance company could say you caused the sickness with your illegal use of steriods, and then screw you out of any financial help you may need? To be honest with you I cant imagine my doctors reaction if I told him I was juicing. Would thay try and work with you or would they consider that "enabling" you? I dont know, I could use some help on this one. Thanks.

i wouldn't tell your doctor. i just had back surgery to repair 2 discs that i messed up from lifting. i just told them i was working out alot.

I hear you, but then how are people always making these post about their blood test results. Things like liver values.........ect. These are not normally done when you go for a physical. And Y_M_K finding a "good" doctor is easier said then done.

I am going to tell my doc that I want a complete physical,I want to check kidneys, liver, heart and all that other good stuff.I am going to use my job as an excuse,I finish furniture,I spray alot of paints and varnishes. It says on the cans that I use that overexposure to solvents can cause organ damage and a list of other things.I am going to tell my doc that I want to keep a close eye on my self since I am around that stuff alot.
Whatever you do,do not tell him about using gear,he will have to tell your insurance company. If your insurance company finds out about it ,they wont cover shit! They are always looking for an excuse not to pay for shit.Just come up with some kind of story like mine and the will treat you.If you cant use your job as an excuse, tell them you do bodywork in your spare time and you have been breathing in alot of harmful fumes.

I agree with the kneepads guy. No paper trail.

But most people probably can't afford to pay out-of-pocket.

Request the tests, alright. But don't say anything unless you values come up abnormal.

Then, you might broach the subject of steroid use. Tell the doc that you want off-the-record advice/treatment. Nothing reflected in the personal history.

The doc will only report your usage given stupid, ridiculous cycles and experimentation. He would want to protect his ass, afterall. At your age, though, I don't think you'll be doing that kind of thing.

(Never works with female doc's).

The doc will want to retain you as a patient, alright. He's probably got a family to feed, too.

A doc out of town and cash. The only way to go. Find an anti-aging clinic. And don't go to a physical with your primary care physician while on either. You values will be out of line and it might throw a red flag.
