Xenadrine = Jaundice/Liver Faliure?

I was benching today and one of the GYM trainers told asked me if I felt allright, because he noticed that under my armpits were yellow colored. I asked him why this may be and he said, Jaundice. I have been taking Xenadrine for about a year now (on an off, 4 tabs a day) along with GNC multi and DHEA. All of my friends keep telling me that I need to stop taking it, because it will eventually "kill me" but so far I have lost about 70 pounds and am to supersticous to deviate from my daily routine. I run around the track usually about 5 times a week anywhere from 2 to 5 miles, and do upper boddy every other day. Recently I have not been getting sufficient amounts of sleep because of school, so am wondering maybe this could be the culprit. My question is, can anybody offer some honest input on whether or not Xenadrine (RFA-1 the original with ephedrine) is dangerous to ones liver. I dont get headaches, or the shakes, as in my previous "obese" lifetime, I was a caffene junkie, so to this day it really has no effect on me. Other then that I just know I have lost a shit load of weight through taking it, and its now a placebo whereas I don't want to run or work out without taking it.

ive never heard of anybody getting Jaundice or liver problems from ephedrine. What does your diet look like? Are you consuming enough water? Try to catch up on your sleep, it could have just been the lighting in the gym too, the lighting in my gym makes me look yellowish too sometimes.

That gym trainer should be in another line of work. If you have liver failure, you would know it. A couple years ago I found out that I had a weak liver. I found this out after overlapping D-bol and Winny. My liver decided it couldn't handle it, so it shut down. I felt like I had the worst flu of my life. I couldn't scratch my nuts because it just took too much energy. Even blinking seemed like hard work. My skin wasn't too yellow, but my eyes were. My girlfriend at the time was a nurse fortunately, so I knew to stop the gear and start cleaning up my liver. It only took a couple days to feel better, but it was brutal while it lasted.

Anyway, if you feel lathargic, or feel like the flu is coming on, then worry.

As far as the ephedrine goes, it has the potential to be damaging to several things over time, but the liver would not be one that I can see happening.

The negative effects of ephedrine have been greatly exagerated.

Anyway, even if it is "possibly" harmful to your liver... would that possibility be more dangerous than that 70 pounds of crap your body was straining to carry?

Get your bloodwork done anyways... I've seen plenty of yellowed old crusty and salty gym clothes to say, I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure you are getting enough water.
