Yes.Its not a walk thru one though. You put backpacks/luggage,shopping bags/packages thru it.

Go to the customs website and you will see they do have X-Ray machines (drive through ones)... Good thing is that they ONLY use them for big rigs.

Knee pads is correct. however, I have been down there many of times with my GF and they never make her put her purse through the x ray machine. I don't know if it is to busy and they don't notice or what.
