Now it is my turn to speak.

I am (was) one of the mods at Triedia. One of the reasons that I left Elite in the first place was because that I felt that there was less of a sense of Community here (mostly due to the size I am sure), and Triedia had a very good sense of that. When I see board bashing taking place, I lose respect for the individual doing the bashing. Anyone that says negative things about the members or the Mods at Triedia are basically disrepecting the blood, sweat, and tears that I and the other mods put into that place.
I never got involved in all of the politics going on there. I spent 90% of my time in the anabolic forum posting studies and research and arguing with Nandi12 Both the Phantom and TxLonghorn can attest to that.
I was never a fan of the classified section, but it was there and that was the way that it is. I guess when you look at it, it did make Triedia grow quickly, but it also gave us a lot of members that only visited the Classified section for source information, and did not bother with the anabolic section or other sections. But, I guess me not liking the classified section, may be similar to a mod here not liking Platinum or some of the other sections on this board.
Unfortunately, their are some negative things that have happened in the past few days. Hogg stepped down. Those of you that know Hogg, know what a hard worker and decent person he is. I always dealt with Hogg, even when Roid Doc was the "known" owner of the board. I have never even spoken with RD. Also, a couple of things happened which I believe have taken Triedia offline, maybe for good. I am not prepared to go into those, but I will offer "full disclosure" in the next few days if Triedia does not go back up. which leads me to my next point:
If Triedia goes back up, and I am still a Mod, I will stay until I can't take it anymore. The reason: There are some members that made everything worth it, and I owe them. I will not let them down if I can help it. Also, I have poured myself into making that place better, and one of the most informative on the net. I believe that Mods such as myself, nandi, tx, phantom, and Ballyfreak actually accomplished that in the last few months. It is sad to see all of that work go down the tubes because of some selfish people...
Anyway, to those who know me: Myself and Nandi12 will either be a part of Triedia, or another board as mods shortly. We are talking to one right now. Also, anything that Hogg does in the way of starting a new board we will be a part of.
I will also make an effort to "come back to my roots" here at Elite, and post a bit more than I have.
I do want to make one thing clear: Policy at Triedia was not set by Mods. I never received any money (sometimes I wish that I had), or had any special arrangements with any of the sources. I suspect that most of the mods, if not all were in the same boat as me. The mods just tried to do their jobs, we did not decide what happened with the board. Personally,I stayed away from the classified section for the most part and , I could've done without that section alltogether, but I know the admins had their reasons for it.
I hope to see a happy resolution to all of this, but I fear that Triedia may have seen its day in the sun...

Hogg has tried to post on this thread but could not because it said he needed to be a platinum member. So I will quote verbatim the email he sent me in response to the entire triedia situation:

"I cant even respond to the threads about triedia because I am not 'platinum'. A number of the posts at elite should not go unanswered. I am documenting the whole sad/ugly story for my own safety and in the future, I will probably publish bits and pieces of it on meso as that is my place of origin. Notwithstanding, I feel that certain truths should be known about triedia. The truths are as follows:


-Legal ownership was never transferred and it was a sham. Consider me naive. Both Nimrod and I have bitter feelings over this situation. We were used like pawns in someone's chess game.

-'The Corporation' had informed me about 2 weeks prior to the Cyber bust that the feds were going to take a harder look at the board. I then made it clear in the secure classified forum that public posting was risky. Many domestics chose to remain in the open.

-The CyberAs bust was the first indicator that the feds had infiltrated the board. They knew about our secure classified forum though we were never able to pinpoint the leak.

-Following the CyberAS bust, we learned that "The Corporation" had known about the Fed issue for months and had not made the disclosure until the time I mentioned above. 'The Corporation" mysteriously made the decision to shut down a couple of months prior to the cyber bust. Though I was told that they shut down, it appears that they continued operations by re-engineering the role of their supply chain.

-The likelihood that the Feds had access to mod/admin data is slim. It was certainly a fear of mine however, I believe it to be largely unfounded at this time. In truth, it would not have mattered anyway; the only data in the mod forums pertained to recent source busts.

-It should be noted that "The Corporation" had initially taken the posture that they would be sole source on mexican gear on the board. It was not until their CEO was arrested that I was able to aloow other domestic mexican sources. My argument was simple: "If you have the lowest prices and people are still scared to do business with you, why not allow the other domestics in here? If you cant win the game, then let others play it." It should be noted that I am receiving considerable heat over this in the last couple of days. I assume that you are aware of the recent actions of a certain individual.

-Nimrod and I had nothing to do with sources on the board other than remaining in contact with them and trying to keep tabs on them for our membership. There were many tragic occurrences that neither nim nor I could have prevented. Simply put, we were only able to put the word out as soon as we knew of the problems.

-We could not make full disclosure in the classifieds about the busts nor about the fed condition. Yes, I did make several general statements to the effect that feds were on the board and that certain sources were busted. Only a person with less than a middle school education would be blind to the intent of those posts. I am sorry that some of the meatheads from triedia were too stupid to figure out a ballot on election day.


As I have said herein, I will be documenting everything. It is a long, dark, ugly tale and I will post those pieces that should be known. In light of the recent threats that I have received, I will be placing this document in the hands of a few trusted individuals to ensure my own safety. "

Tell Hogg even though I have not been a mod on triedia in many moons, I still consider him a stand-up guy, and have nothing but respect for him and the way he handled this situation.

I've been on both of these boards, I've learned from both of them. There are some great Mods at Triedia and great Admin. This may piss some people off but I think the mods at triedia are more helpful than the ones here. And not just with source info, I mean any info on AS. JGUNS and a few other will go out of there way to help u out. I will say this about Hogg he saved me from getting scammed by a source that is no longer at Triedia. Hogg stayed on his ass until I got my computer parts. Fuck it I'll say it I like it better there than this place, kick me off I don't care. And you can write this down the FEDS are here too. But that is not to say that there is not some good bros here! So go ahead and flame on me, it won't hurt my feelings!

Mmmm... . this is not a Platinum board so he should be able to post himself.

If he knew 2 weeks prior to the cyber bust why didn't he speak out. Now a lot of people would have never sent the money to cyber if they had known. Money and funds were being picked up after he alledgedly was arrested. Why not warn the members that their money and info may be sitting in fed hands?

Members tried to point out the flaw of having RD as owner of the triedia on paper and neither Hogg nor Nimrod would listen. Instead they were busy stroking their egos and patting each other on the back.

Now how could triedia have a leak? DUH!! All you had to do was register. I mean it is not like there was restrict limited access. The Classifieds were NOT that secure in the first place. Anyone with a user name could view it.

And WHY could not a full disclosure be made to the members? Why all the read-between-the-lines and mysterious drama act? There would be not penalty if the classifieds were as secure as you thought it would be. What a bigger disgrace to keep info like this from the members you are supposed to be serving. That is right. YOU serve them, not the other way around.

So in other words.... since you KNEW that the "Corporation" was in deep shit because RD was in prison and chances are he ain't getting out, sitting on a murder rap, do you actually think that he WOULDN"T tip some people off? I mean, then you brought in others that supposedly "out did" him in the service department? You associated yourself with people dealing in illegal goods and giving them thumbs up and bumps and praising remarks on a board that belonged to a murderer/molester/drug dealer. And you wonder why the feds were looking there?

Keeping silent regarding the fed's involvement is worse than scamming people.

Not naming this so-called "corporation" sounds fishy. It would be easy to blame some phoney "corporation" rather than own up to fucking people over.

Not that I'm saying Hogg did this, I'll leave that for other's to interpret.

AAP, if you have all the answers and you know what should and shouldnt be done, then why arent you running a board of your own?

Truth be told, the domain was suppose to change hands, we gave it time, thought it was coming, and it didnt....so pooh pooh on us for thinking that people would make good on their promises.

As far as disclosure, the disclosure was made in the secure forum as soon as I found out and it was well known to all the sources that there were impending federal problems. They stayed in the classifieds because of greed, they wanted to mop up newbie business and make money....that is their call, they know their trade and the risks associated with it. I dont serve anybody, I didnt get paid to run that board, it was a only a hobby, so spare me the bullshit about my obligations to people. Sorry that you couldnt read between the lines . How many times does a person have to say "Fed" and see posts about sources getting busted for members to catch on at what was happening?

You know what? I dont have to defend myself in this issue, certainly not to you.

As far as the rest of your jealousy and what not, continue on with it, slander me as you may. I dont know you but there are many who do know me and I can honestly say that as you speak your words from this pulpit of your own inferences, your words fall on turned ears.

I figured this would happen. I am expecting at least one or two know-it-alls and conspiracy theorists on each board.....looks like I found one on elite already. Best of luck to you in your endeavors.
