WWE thoughts on big show...

shouldn't funaki get a title shot? i mean it wasn't even like a month ago he beat the big show. Do titles mean shit anymore? They blew it with the big show.. he could have been a monster but he has jobbed out as many times as spike dudley and i can only suspend my disbelief so far... i am already pushing it to it's max.

Unless they're smart enough to use Steiner the good way to put WWE back on the track, the thing is getting freaky ridiculous and boring....

That was before the BIG SHOW turned his act around and started getting pissed off. Lessner Beat the big show, if it wasn't for Hayman's interference... so, Big Show is still just the big show... a big doof ball... who has been F5'd by Lessner 2x.

Just like every heel with the title, he wins by cheating. Hell, HHH couldn't beat D Lo Brown in a blindfold match without Flair cheating distracting the ref while HHH Lifted up his mask.

In theory, Big Show should make a good champion. Andre The Giant was the same size, much less agile, and had worse mic skills. But everyone loved him.

Big Show was indeed punished by Jim Ross (who holds much much power in the WWE to those who dont know the backstage politics) and Vince McMahon.

Before the buyout, you could probably muscle Vinnie Mac, but now that he basically holds all the industry cards, its either do what he wants for the price he wants, or go to some low level federation or international wrestling.

In reality, I dont think theres probably anyone in the WWE that would stand a chance against Big Show/Paul Wight in an actual fight. I mean look at it realistically, theres no way Lesnar could take Wight in real life.

Title don't mean shit anymore. Used to be that entire federations were built around the world title and it was the Holy Grail of the entire fed. Now days, the federations are built around 4-5 men who trade the belt on a weekly basis. Title reigns used to be counted in years and the shortest ones lasted months. Nowdays, title reigns have only last hours. Sad state of affairs.

Do you really care if Taker or Rock or HHH gets the belt again? NO!!! I find more excitement in the mid card matches of Benoit and Eddie G. than I do in the main events. It has just gotten piss poor lately.

Dunno about Lesner and his background but is there any martial art expert in the WWE now ?

Lesnar & Angle both have amateur wrestling experience. Lesnar won the NCAA college wrestling championship and Angle won the national title on several occaisions, then won the World championship at the 96 Olympics in Atlanta. Word is they went at it backstage and Angle won (he also beat the Big Show in a real amateur style match backstage).

As for martial arts experience, the only one I'm sure about is Steve Blackman. Some others may but not sure.
