Haven't both shows just become a series of recaps of the last PPV, and hype for the next?
I haven't watched wrestling in months...nothing interesting ever happened on the shows, and it just became a series of old superstars coming back to look old and decrepit in the ring.

Who cares? it was typical of the McMahons to get themselves MORE prime tv air time. Like THEY are the reason people tune in, the owners seem to think they are more important than the PRODUCT.
Guess what? Last week, Vince managed to get himself booked into the main event at Survivor Series against UT. (gasp... what a shock huh?)
Frankly I am tired of all the McMahons on tv. I want to watch wrestling, not fucked up little dysfunctional storylines.

Anyway, until the Mc Mahon's realize that they are not wrestlers and stay the fuck out of the ring and let the true stars shine... ratings will flounder.
RVD is in contract talks with the WWE right now and I doubt he will resign with them. He has stated several times that he finds it strange that he will open a show and Shane, Linda Mc Mahon, Vince or Stephanie etc... are in the main event. RVD is a super talented in-ring performer who gives 110% to every match and for the most part his WWE career has been that of a semi-jobber. Even though the crowd chants his name regardless of who they match him up against, Vince buries him like a second rate talent. Ready made star... mic skills or not... his in-ring speaks volumes! So what does the WWE do? They push Randy Orton or Test... or the worst of all A-Train down the fans throats and everyone stops watching.
It is very clear that WWE is out of touch with the core wrestling fans. Until they get their core fan base to religiously tune in... they can forget it.

Thing is, if I were WWE matchmaker, in 6 monhts, I would have that company turned around completely and back to the old school roots. Back when wrestling meant something. I would have people begging to be allowed to purchase tickets to see the events.

Didn't Vince learn from his $750 million dollar mistake with the XFL ????? He needs to let the wrestlers wrestle and stop with the Stone Cold, Eric Bishoff, and everyone else yapping there mouths all damn nite. People pay to watch wrestlers fight . If they wanted a talkfest/soap opera they'd watch General Hospital.

When they had Paul Heyman doing a lot of the writing things were getting better.... unfortunatley ratings did not spike and then Vince demoted his ass. They need to get guys like Foley and Heyman to start booking and get rid of Gerwitz and these other clowns.
