I'm sitting in my office now b/c something came up this past week that caused to me to be distracted and get very little done.
so I came in this weekend to make up the work and have internet access, and since the board is so dead - I think I might try to get my "real work" done instead... but I'm open to not doing that as well... I'm so flexible

I am going through a cynical phase where no matter how productive I manage to be at work - I dismiss my progess as inconsequential in the "grand scheme" of things...

...this philosophy of "nothing-really-matters" is quite effective at producing mediocre results around the office....

at work they gave me a ton of stuff to do, and then 3 weeks to get it finished. I figured it must be a lot, so I buckled down and worked hard for a day. I got a third of all if it done. so that means in 2 more days, I'd have 3 weeks worth of stuff done.
so isntead of doing that, I just figure I have lots of time to kill.

somewhere in there, I know it is my fault, but I'd like to blame the management.

I got all of it done yesterday, and I'm now sitting here working on other people's work, b/c I know once I say I got the other stuff done, they will just give me other people's work anyway.
