worst fucking timing

ok i took my last shot from my fina/ sust cycle about 4 or 5 weeks ago....i gained about 20pds, and kept 17 or so of it....well i went through some clomid therapy and other post cycle helpers, and maintined the gains....well about 6 days ago i went to the doc cause ive gotten sick, and it is fucking mono! im forcing food down my mouth but my throat is so swollen i can barley swallow, im going to make an effort to go to the gym today, i just cant take lying around especially shortly after a cycle......this sucks, i feel like im going to wither away! definetly cant wait till winter for my bulking cycle now!

as i was reading ur post i was thinking the same thing, i think the best thing for me to do right now is try and eat as much as i can and get some rest, hopefully i will see some improvements and gains when i get back into the gym, thanks for the advice i appreciate it!
 
i wouldn't lift if you have mono, it will only take longer to go away and for you to recover.
the best thing you can do is wait it out and try not to get too down

Protein shakes man! Im sure you can get a few of these down man. You just got bad luck bro ... sit tight and wait to heal up. If im not mistaken though, I think that mono can last a long length of time. Lets hope not though man.

Don't lift. I know what you are going through. I got the stomach virus about a year ago and it cost me 20 ibs in two weeks. I tried to get liquid cals or anything I could hold down, but would just shit it out. It sucked. When I finally got back in the gym, I was weak as hell and it took me 4-6 weeks to even get my lifts back anywhere near where they were before. I didn't regain the muscle until I hit test/tren again. My first real setback in bodybuilding thus far.

thanks for the advice, ill go pick some up, ive been drinking the metRx rtd-40 shakes, but i think the XXL's would benifit me more now
 
DAMN! Arnold - sorry to hear that! I got it about 7 months ago and feel it took away everything I've gained over the last couple of years -it was hard to deal with ( i thought you really only got it when you were young). DO NOT LIFT!!!! You always hear when you find ou you have it to not do sh*t immediately..AND THAT'S TRUE!! I thought I just had a real bad flu or something and it let up for like 2 days so I went to the gym, thinking i was getting well form the flew -AND IT CAME BACK AND HIT ME LIKE A JACKHAMMER!! - had to go to the hospital because it started to close my throat/windpipe up!! Rest man, and hit it slow when you come back! it takes a couple of months to get you strength/blood cell count back - get well soon man!!

thanks for the advice, and yeah i guess im still kinda young, im 20....i know what ur talking about though, cause i feel pretty good today, but i think to get through this resting is the quickest way to get back to lifting......
 
Good luck on this bro, I wish the best for you and your lifting. I would just try to keep as much weight as possible without putting any strain on yourself..just my 2. BIGBIZ
