i felt like i didnt' get enough out of my cycle last time (deca/enanthate) but i know the stuff was real. i only gained about 8 lbs. in 8 weeks. 166 to 174.5 i wanted to know, if i can workout more often when on a cycle. i was working each bodypart only once a week. should i be doing it twice? three times? should i be working out more often when on a cycle to break down and build up muscle faster?

I'll tell ya my experince and thoughts to that. I have had cycles where I was in the same place as you not feeling like I got everything out of my cycle and felt I should have worked out more. The thing is you probbly just didnt eat right/enough. I would try increaseing your cal/pro and see how that goes and if you start growing then you can also try to do 2 times each body part and see whats good for you.

what were your doses of deca and test. Maybe you didnt take the right combo of drugs to work for you, or maybe there can be several things wrong............Cause out of 8 weeks only 8 lbs, something is not right, you can get 8 lbs off creatine and andro, list the cycle you did, let me see!!!!

I'ts good that you are seeking solutions to get more out of your cycle(s). But, before you beat yourself up think about what you said above; "...8 lbs. in 8 weeks." Think about that. Was it quality LBM? Did you keep it? Any reduction in BF%? Don't guage the success of the cycle or your progress by the scale, or by comparing it to what you read "on the boards." Take 8 solid pounds of retained gains in 8 short weeks with a smile and keep movin' on. What would you have gained in those 8 weeks if you didn't cycle? There are too many variables involved when you try to compare / contrast diet, routines, genetics, cycles and what is ideal for each individual.

That said, there is always room for improvement as you know. As a matter of fact, you probably already know what you need to do better it's just a matter of putting it into practice (discipline?). Re-evaluate what you did last time with your diet, dosages, etc. as well as your routine and make some overall adjustments. I don't think there is a "right" answer to your question re: W/O's, only you can figure that out (experience). But in general, "yes;" you should increase volume, intensity and weight (move dependant) based on your goals while on.
