Wodin: Dreamaster Question

Ok I have this semi-recurring dream for you to analyze. Basically there is someone that I know in great pain. Looking me right in the eyes begging for help. And no matter what I do I cannot get to them to help them. It's the same person, and pretty much the same situation every time. The setting may change, but the rest is the same. Sometimes I even realize it's a dream and I cannot change the outcome.

I used to have it every now and then, but the last couple weeks it has been almost an every night thing. I will wake up in the middle of it and my covers will literally be tied in knots. I even kick the fitted sheet off the mattress sometimes.

I mean I am not the best sleeper to begin with, but this little gem is makin it downright impossible.

Do you think it means I eat too much cheese??

Cheese is horrible to begin with unless its on some mexican dish.

Basically dreams of persons struggling are about a facet of your personality or life that you haven't delt with. You have some issue about yourself or aspect of your behavoir that you want to change but just cant seem to make happen.

Now the real question is what is it?

That or you've been eating way too many tostitos and salsa.

I see dreams falling into a few catagories.

1. Our subconscous mind revealing issue that we don't want to know about or deal with.

2. precognative dreams that fortell some aspect of our futures.

3. Psychoactive responses to drugs.

A few weeks ago I had a dream where I was in a plush room with several coworker and my boss and his boss and there was a black coat and yellow shirt with cats imprenetd on it that where predominant in the dream.

The colors and symbols implied a deception.

A few days later at work my vp gave me an invitation to a suprise bday party for my boss.

Then there is this one dream I've been having for years which involves me and some guy fighting over this sacred book in an ancient library. I still haven't figured that one out.

4. Hot chicks we wish we had thumped back when

I had one of those not too long ago. 3 girls from my HIGHSCHOOL of all places, they were all dressed like the girls in that Robert Palmer Video - Addicted to Love.

I bet you and the Mrs were campin under a tent that morning..

Wait, I have one for ya.

What about when your asleep and you think you can't breath, like something is sitting on your chest, and you can't get enough air.

I have had several of those "dreams" and I can't wake up from them. That is some scary shit to dream that you are about to asphyxiate

Asphyxiation = repression. Go to a dungeon...you'll be fine. :)

Oh great, on top of night sweats, I now have sleep apnea.

From second hand experience, I know a sleep study is no fun.

My brother has sleep apnea...mainly because he is the size of a house. He sleeps in a semi vertical position, its like watching frankestiens monster or a beached whale sleeping.

I wake up a dozen or more times a night.
Sometimes easy, sometimes gasping for air. (hold your gay comments)

Stop sleeping with that vibrating butt plug up your ass and you wont have these problems.

I have had a recurring dream (a couple actually) that has been over the course of the last two years...

One is that I am dreaming that I am my age (28) and just found out that I did not have enough credits to graduate high school - missed one class - and thus, I was ineligible to go to college and my degree was being taken away. I would have to take the one high school class and graduate and then go through 4 years of college again.

this is sort of weird because I breezed through high and college with an 'A' average.

I have one like that too. I dream that I have to go through basic training again, even though I had been in the army for 13 years. It is unbelievably depressing. In my dream, I'm like "What??? You're Fucking Kidding Me". Then the drill sergeants take over!

The other night I had a dream that I was in an elevator at my new job on my way down at the end of the day when the elevator suddenly went dark, and began falling rapidly towards the bottom. As it dawned on me what was happening, I braced myself against the rail in the vain hope of surviving the impact.

I woke up just before the elevator hit bottom.

It just always has to be about you doesn't it...:lmao:

Actually my old standby to fucked up dreams, insomnia, seems to be doing the trick.

Thanks Wodin, btw....that was my take on it too, just wanted to see what you would say about it.

PS. Those little Melatonin tabs that you buy at the grocery store don't do SHIT.....that is all.

The 2.5mg Sublinguals? You've got to tak at least 10mg.

Basically you need to practice modesty and you have bosterious people around you who need to learn to shut up.

It means tough times are ahead.

Dark, falling, elevator out of order...(since its falling I assume its out of order).

Well, ain't that just lovely.

What about dreams where your siblings die?

Death isn't death. It means Change and usually for the better.

So the dream I had where my sister and her husband die in a car wreck is a good thing?

Whoa.

Don't be suprised if your sister moves in with you.

hey wodin could ya tell me what this one means, it's a dream i had when i was a kid but for some reason i've never forgotten it;

i'm about 5 years old, half asleep in my bed when this weird looking dude comes in my room. he has slanted eyes but he's not asian or anything, very weird. he does not say anything and grabs my ankles and kind of tries to crush them, so i can't move. wtf was that all about?

Wodin, that was a sorry interpretation of mine.

You just didn't want to look it up.
