winstrol hairloss

I was speakiing to a friend of mine about winstrol. He believes that since it is a dht derivitive the body recognizes it already as dht and won't produce any more in response to the winstrol. He believes winstrol will not cause hairloss due to this. However I have read numerous posts about winstrol causing hairloss as well as seen winstrol tear the hairline up first hand. He has done numerous cycles with winstrol with no hairloss. I think he just isn't prone to hairloss even though he claims he is. My question is I was wondering if his theory on winstrol and hairloss holds any water or if anyone has heard something similar because I would like to try it, however I would like to also keep my hair. thanks for the help

I feel that as with all AS, winstrol sides are dose dependant... and since a LOT of people on this board do very high doses (for no reason really IMO) that is why it seems so many people have a high incidence of sides.

I ran 50mg (orally, liquid) EOD for 6 weeks and had no hair loss and good results

Thats not quite right - your body does not regulate DHT, it regulates Test. If you are using enough Winny to signal your receptors to turn off Test production, then yes you will get lower DHT levels in your body.

DHT is sorta "self regulated" because it quickly gets converted to an inactive form when levels are high via "3alpha HD" enzyme.

Ive read that Winny is tougher on hair than other DHT orals that dont bind as strong to the AR ( such as Var or Primo ). Those would be safer if you are very concerned with hairloss.

Or your other best idea is running Test with a 5AR antagonist like Fin or Dut to prevent conversion to DHT.

Other options include injectibles like Deca or EQ that react with 5AR but dont form DHT, they will essentially lower your DHT levels by competing for the 5AR with the test in your body.

I'm prone to hairloss and Winstrol at 50mg/day hit me harder than anything. I have friends who take twice that and don't shed a hair, all depends on the person.
