Alright,winstrol is a derrivative of D.H.T(dihydrotestosterone).Which promotes hair loss.Testosterone is converted to D.H.T by the body also.

Try a search on hairloss, there is a lot of great info on here re hair loss but it will take a while to go through it.
I'm pretty sure winny does not convert to dht, but causes hairloss in a different way that the dht blockers usually can't stop.

Most people say that it is hard on their hair. Most people who I know feel Winny is very mild. I'm stacking it with Test and haven't seen any hairloss. But, I know from reading this and other boards that alot of guys lose a fair amount of hair with Winny....especially with test.

One theory has it that Winny is only a hair killer when stacked with 5AR reducable gear (like test), because winny supposedly frees up bound test from SHBG. In this case winny alone not so bad- unless you are older (35+?) since you'll naturally have lots more bound test to suddenly be converted to DHT.

Would love to hear BuffDoc's opinion on this theory.
