Windows Vista firewall? usable?

For you IT people out there (not you, rozarguns) - is the Windows Vista firewall even worth turning on or should someone just go right to a 3rd party app? I just need to hold someone over until I can get them a hardware router by week's end.

The normal FW with Vista will work fine... It's all I use.

Same here. I always keep mine on. I used to use zone alarm but I just got Norton 2008 so in addition to Vista's FW I also use Norton's.
