Will insurance cover HGH?

Guvna

My father is 58 years old, and he is starting to have the "old man" pain and degradation. I may approach him about using growth, and was wondering if his insurance might cover it as an HRT or maybe an anti-aging program? He had Blue Cross, I believe. Any chance of this happening? If so, what channels would I have to go through?

thanks,

Governor

Please come over to the Longevity board area. Lots of info about HRT and us old farts. LOL

I'm 4 years older than your Father. LOL

Insurance won't cover HGH and it is expensive. My policy covers everything else from test to blood tests.

Your Dad needs an Anti-Aging Doctor. Scan over the posts and you'll see how to find one. Google anti aging with your city.

Good luck.

From what I understand depending on your policy, insurance might cover it, but defenitely not for anti aging purposes. You'd most likely have to have HIV, and even then you may have a hard time getting it covered by certain companies.

usually wont no, for anti aging, definately not. My cousin host her pituitary gland due to a cancer, she is suppose to be on HGH, but insurance refuses to pay, if they wont do it for someone that had brain cancer, i dont see it being done for much else.

nope, costs too much for her to afford, doc has her on some oral, but it's not the same..

And then we have a bunch of HIV postive people's meds that taxpayers get to pay for. That is pretty fucked up.

Tell her to contract a completely preventable disease, because of her own stupidity, and maybe she will get some help.

God, that shit really chaps my ass.

You should hook her up with some Jin's bro. She couldnt afford ~ $275 a kit, lasting over a month?

thanks for the replys guys.

I would rather just buy him some Jins at 1/8 the price, or, better yet, some Nutropin at 1/7 the price.

I'm form Canada and I really don't know your system. However I saw a 20/20 special about these 2 kids who stared taking HGH basically beacuse they were short. Anyways, it said that "Half" of the HGH cost was covered by the insurance companies.
