Your metabolism is already boosted when using thyroid hormones so the "cheat" meal isn't really a cheat, unless of course you cheat like I cheat, which means going to a place like Chili's, Applebee's, etc, they hand me the menu and I say "yes".
No meal ever boosts metabolism. If you are burning 100 calories an hour, and after a 800 calories 'cheat' meal, you burn 110 calories an hour for two hours, how much was the 'boost'?
10% boost to metabolism is really a lot. And that would be the result, if it does happen.
People keep on making up this type of crap out of air because they have to sell books or promote themselves.
I know metabolism. If you eat calories, that will become fat, unless you burn it by physical activity (or convert it to muscle by AAS).
