Why did we settle on weight as the metric with which to measure us?
Why not volume?
Why not volume?
volume is harder to calculate or measure accurately i guess
also the human body has compartnemtns in it like stomach;s etc that can fill without affecting external volum significantly
and i guess we correlated weight with amount as a species before we developed a concept of volume and how to measure it
