why take 1-ad on with food?

The instruction on the label for 1-ad says it should be taken with food. Any reasons?

Can I take it wih protein powder?

The first batch of 1-AD made was causing stomach irratations in users, so Ergopharm was urging users to take the product with food. I believe they fixed the problem by making it in the diol form, as opposed to the dione form, which eliminated the stomach irratation. Now, I'm pretty sure people aren't having any problems with it.

I think the idea behind it is to take it w/ some fats. May enhance absorption I think... might want to do a search I think I remember something about that.
