why not always bake prop?

recently while injecting millions of tiny barded pieces of glass(aka test prop)into my butt-cheek i had an epiphany.....if baking prop makes injections less painful, why dont the peeps who make it-bake it? wouldnt that be good for errbody? ponder that.
