Why is John Kerry winning?

Can anyone explain why this guy is winning? He flip flops his positions daily. He has the charisma of a corpse and he always has a long face.... literally.

If I were a democrat, Edwards seems like the superior choice to me. Young, charismatic and not nearly as liberal.

Experience - knows how the system works
Presidential comportment - looks like a head of state
Calm - do you want a hothead with his button on the launch codes?
Verbal Skills - great talker, polished answers, an answer on most all topics
Charisma - yes he is dull. In a president, that's not a bad thing.

If Edwards were the nominee, Bush would be able to use the "lack of experience" card against him( one term )

plus redshirt makes it sound like kerry was the only one protesting. There were millions upon millions protesting that war. Vietnam was wrong, and it was a mistake, and we should have never subjected our brave soldiers to that undeclared war.

I won't disagree though I could have gone along with the principal that Vietnam was initially fought on.....to halt the domino like expansion of the USSR.


The fact that we forced our soldiers to fight with one arm tied behind their back is simply.............reprehensible. We could have simply gone in and kicked their ass if Washington and the powers that be had wanted to.

You will get little proof, for they care not about proof, merely that they can hold to beliefs in men, instead of ideas. Because Kerry went to Vietnam he shits gold, didn't you know this? Kerry could say that he wishes to enslave the nation and they would claim that any attack on this idea was an attack on a man who is a decorated war hero.
