Why is it?

Why is it that men can flirt, make derogatory comments, and droul over women, but if a woman does this to a man then her signifigant other gets pissed and says "it is not right"?

My reason for this thread is this: Men can look at porn and it is cool, men can droul over a woman on the internet, tv, or walking down the street and it is okay, men can flirt with whomever they want to and it is okay. But when we women do it the man gets all pissed off and starts freaking out, but if we women freak out we are overreacting, insecure, and are told to shut up.

Just wondering.

ok, i thought about it and this is my answer:

it actually has to do with the dynamics of the particular relationship, not really with the gender of the person. i know plenty of women who get jealous and i know plenty of men who do as well. so what Im saying is that ALL men are not like that. sorry i couldnt have been of more help.

I not talking about jealousy. What I am talking about is when you find your man drouling over a woman, and yeah you get upset, but then awhile later you are drouling over some hot guy and he freaks out. Or like when you are talking to some guy on the internet and he wants to know the "who, what , where, when , and why", but if he is talking to a girl it is all hush hush..

basically it is insecurity....IMO- jealousy is one of the most destructive elements in any relationship. Smurfy-you are correct.

word.

If my chick doesn't look at other men i would get worried. Just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean you stop being a human being.

This has never happened in my presence. I'm talking about friends, strangers, whatever. I've never seen this, ever.

You sound either (1) insecure, or (2) very biased.
