I'm trying to find a shot of the whole island - here is the house I want - too bad I don't have the 11 million to buy it.
Just as well, it is in a shitty location for commuting into work - but pretty close to the airport.

I'm curious to know how it did in the hurricane since it is sitting essentially right where the storm would first hit.

If I recall correctly, the rooms in the upstairs of its boathouse (off to the left) are larger than my apartment. It has a huge desiel generator, so it would at least not matter that they were without power for a long time in Tucker's Town - I wonder how much of that was due to resentment (Tucker's Town is where all the really expensive places are - Ross Perot and Bloomberg, etc).

That house is way overkill, but it is fun in a show off way. Like I said, if I lived there and worked in town, it would be an annoying commute, esp in weather.
I currently live straight accross the harbor from where I work, so it is damn easy.

I have two houses that I am very interested in and very well may have a shot at owning in the next few years... well, I guess 4 ... 5 places. But would only have a shot at one or two.

They are all much cheaper - the highest being 5 million and the lowest being 500K.

At this point I'm nowhere near, so it is all just idle talk.
