i've heard a lot of arguments as to why clomid during the cycle is a waste of time....ie
Question: Some say Clomid during a cycle is a waste, is this true?
Answer: Lets first examine what happens when someone is using anabaolic androgenic steroids. When the level of androgens in the body get too high, the androgen receptor becomes more highly activated, and the hypothalamus stops sending a signal to the pituitary. In short the signal tells our body to stop producing testosterone. During a cycle the body has higher levels than normal of androgens and as long as this level is high enough clomid will not help to keep natural test production up. It will be almost all but completely shut off. The only purpose of clomid during a cycle is as an anti-estrogen.

anyway, last cycle, i did one amp omna eod, 500 eq/week, and 50 winny ed...i started clomid from 4 weeks into it, when i figured test levels were really high, and did one tab a eod of clomid throughout the entire cycle , and until 6 weeks after the cycle. never had any ball shrinkage...if i did, it was very slight.
at any rate, every since i've used clomid, i've gotten acne, even when i did it after my first cycle (a primo/winny one)...so i know that acne is from the clomid (it's also the same type of acne...) it is also well known that high LH and FSH levels cause acne (it's why one of the "side effects" of the birth control pill is a decrease in acne due to drops in the body's levels of LH and FSH. this is what in turn, prevents ovulation: without an LH spike, an egg won't be released from the ovary) so, it appears that when i'm on clomid, LH and FSH levels rise, as they should. anyone have any ideas as to why clomid works this way with me, and why me test feedback loop doesn't seem to function? does anyone else get acne from clomid during the cycle (and know it's from the clomid)? wouldn't this lead you to believe that that is an indicator of LH and FSH levels, which in turn would maintain endo. test levels during the cycle?
also, if you have any information on the negative feedback loop of testosterone in men, i'd be glad to see it. not info on negative feedback of estrogen, but test only.
